Quarter Horse Mares

Our Quarter Horse Mares

Brandy S Stokes
(Easter)

Easter was one of our top ranch horses sinEaster Fillyce she was a 2 year old. She always did as she was asked with out question.  Easter can handle a rope, catch a cow with speed left over, then turn around and drag calves to the branding fire. Casey and Easter have traveled lots of miles, gathering cattle, checking cattle and whatever else Casey needed to do that day. Casey misses using Easter as one of our ranch horses, but she has become a excellent brood mare.

Whenever Casey thought that he might have a hard job to do, Easter was the horse that he picked for the day. He knew that he could always depend on her to get the job done. Easter is even a money winner in the local ranch ropings.

Easter has a nice head, lots of leg, a good deep body and a huge hip. She also has brains to top off all of her other good qualities. She also produces a foal that is a standout.

Easter has some of the best bloodlines of the quarter horse industry. They include: Beduino,(on her papers), Triple Chick, Top Deck, and Freckles Chek.

 Ody Roper
(Rusty)

RRusty Filly 5-2-2007usty is a big stout built mare. She has good confirmation, a pretty head, nice neck, a great disposition, and a big hip. She is a good mother and raises very nice foals. She produces foals with a very nice attitude, very good conformation, and size. We have found her foals to be very willing and they will stand out in a crowd.

Rusty has been used as a ranch horse and in the arena. She has won money at team ropings and at the local ranch ropings. An injury to her foot forced her retirement to being a brood mare which she has excelled at there too. Rusty gives 100% at anything that she is asked to do. She is bred for speed plus the ability to work a cow.

She has some great horses in her background. They include: Coys Bonanza, Go Man Go, Depth Charge, Leo, The Haymaker, Hancock, and Sidney Poco.
