Paint Mares
Jest Painted Annie
(Annie)

Jest Painted Annie (Annie) is consiAnnie baby6 51007dered one of our best brood mares. She has a wonderful disposition, great conformation, a pretty head, a huge hip, and a easy breeder. She raises one of our best foals year after year. So far she has produced five paint foals and two solid foals. We rode Annie for 2 years before we put her in with the brood mares. When we where using Annie on the ranch, she could do it all. She has drug lots of calves to the branding fire, sorted cows and calves in the corral and traveled lots of miles gathering and moving cattle during the summer and fall. She always did what was asked of her without ever balking. We wish that all of our mares where like Annie. One of the hardest decisions to make was whether to put Annie in the brood mare band. We are so glad that we decided to breed her even if we do miss her as a ranch horse. She has produced some really nice foals. Her foals have always been one of the first to sell.

Even though Annie hasn’t been used on the ranch for several years, we wouldn’t be afraid to go out in the pasture catch her up and go riding. We have even caught her up while out in the pasture and rode her bareback back to the house so we wouldn’t have to walk. She is just that type of mare. She is really one of a kind.

Annie's bloodlines include: Sugar Bars, Adios Amigos, Jet Deck, Native Dancer, and Depth Charge just to name a few.

Citas Shy Deal
(Shy)
Citas Shy Deal (Shy) is another one of our good brood mares that wShy Baby May 19, 2007 (3)e have used on the ranch. We rode Shy for 3 years before she went to the brood mare band. She has proved that she is just as good a brood mare as she is a ranch horse. We have never been disappointed in Shy in any way. Shy has done it all as a ranch horse and as a money earner in the local ranch ropings. As a ranch horse, we have used her to check cows and calves during calving, drug those same calves to the branding fire, drug cows into the stock trailer, went many a mile just checking cows in summer pastures and on round up in the fall.
She has excellent conformation, a pretty head, a big hip and great disposition. She is always wanting to please. She puts those same qualities into her babies. She is bred for speed plus the ability to do most anythingelse that is asked of her.

Her 1st foal is showing that he likes to run barrels and is also trained as a heading horse.Shy's pedigree includes: The Ole Man, Yellow Mount, Poco Dell, Leo, King (x 2), and Old Joe Bailey.
